btw - @ GSW - what do you think about the cover?...I can't believe they put black type against a black background. (I tried to add a white drop shadow but it was waaay too much work.) Also, if you look closely you can see where the artist painted over a large swastika behind Mel. (it's amazing what comes out sometimes when you scan these covers!)
you must not grieve for all anonymous bad comments I'm happy for all these lp that we,poor old people ,love to hear from you. I hope you have some record even more old for us
I very much enjoyed the disc by that Italian "Corosone"?: If you also have to lp by Nilla Pizzi, Natalino Otto, Sergio Rabagliati, Caruso, Jmmy Durante Oh how I would be happy!
I don't think the artist painted over the swastika. The swastika is part of the eagle design in the background. Mel's head is in the foreground and from the flat, nondimensional style, his head just naturally covers up part of the swatstika. A flat, straight on view of background and forground. Bad artwork and design all around. That black on black was insane.
ooops sorry about that GSW my bad...you can't see what I was talking about in this copy...I softened the red banner behind Mel and the erasure/overpaint lines got lost. it looked like originally there was a HUGE circle behind him (his entire body no less) that had a swastika in it.
but your final prognosis is right on the money: bad artwork and design all around!
lp rip @320 w/ART!

Not as funny as 'Springtime For Hitler' but close...
p.s. lyrics included so everyone can 'rap' along!
