Hi elevenstar! (and Blixa B.) Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying 'The Rocket Pad'...and more importantly elevenstar I'm so glad to hear that a woman is stopping in! For so long I was wondering if any woman were visiting...
Just a little side note: This blog isn't just for the elderly (or older sounds actually)...it's for anyone who likes eclectic and interesting things (I hope!). I try and only share vinyl records that are no longer too easy (and/or affordable) for a lot of people to find and hear in the hope that it keeps this great music alive a little longer before it slips from the public consciousness entirely.
Rocket-your blog has been on my short list of favorites for some time. A question? Do you have a soundtrack which is a contemporary of this one? Dusty and Sweets McGee? It features lots of great songs from the 50s to the 70s.
