I bought this LP new when it was first released. My copy sounds pretty bad -- lots of surface noise -- but the fact is that it wasn't a very good pressing to begin with. Yours is noisy, but not nearly as noisy as mine, and I'm grateful to have a better-sounding copy thanks to you. It's unfortunate that the pressing was so poor from the start, because this LP contains what I think is one of Mancini's crowning achievements, the a cappella choral version of "Tomorrow is My Friend." That track is SO beautiful. I don't really want to spend upward of $20 to buy the CD for this one track, so again, thank you for making this available. For that matter, thank you for all of your posts!
