Ever wonder what Star Trek would have sounded like if Hank was involved? Well wonder no more! There are a couple of amazing tunes on this lp. I LOVE what he did w/ Grusin's 'Heaven Can Wait' and hearing this take on his 'The Cheap Detective Theme' is lots of fun!
Hank--always my favorite. I had no idea that the theme to the NBC Nightly News wa such a sweet number. I thought I had just about all the Mancini I could get, but this is new to me. Many thanks!
Thanks Rockert. I had this album, somebody borrowed it in college and I never got it back. Never really listened to it with the current love of Mancini. Ahhh.
