I both love and hate this film (if that makes sense). First of all the music is delightful. I wish the story was a little stronger but the production design and all of the technical credits are amazing! Plus who can't like Dick Van Dyke and the other actors? Only later on (as an adult) did I realize that a lot of the artisans behind this film where the same ones who did the 1960's James Bond extravaganzas. (Not to mention the author: Ian Fleming and producer: Cubby Broccoli!)
Your Pal Doug left a great comment here that I may have accidentally deleted. (Sorry about that Doug!)
"My first record I ever bought! With my own lawnmower job money! Mine's really scratchy. Thanks!"
That's so cool! Do you remember how much you used to charge to mow a lawn? My going rate was something ridiculously high like...2 bucks!!! (and that was for the near bye golf course!!!)

Like YPD, a huge childhood memory enshrined here. Many thanks, Rocket.
