I never saw this version w/ James Bond v04 Timothy Dalton however...I did catch the BBC Masterpiece Theater version from a few years ago w/ Mad Max v02 Tom Hardy and highly recommend it.
I really enjoy watching that actor (Tom Hardy) do his thing...in his interpretation he seems to be channeling/paying homage to two of my favorite thespians: Charles Laughton AND Marlon Brando! I've been saying it for awhile and I'll say it again...that cat is good!
btw...if you get a chance to catch him in a recent film out on dvd and are in the mood for a well done B-movie ala Rocky x 2 I really reccomend (no eye rolling please) WARRIOR. It also has Nick Nolte in it and is a real throwback to old Hollywood storytelling in some ways.
