This has got to be one of the coolest scores ever! Bernard Herrmann out did himself with this one. For a bootleg the quality is fantastic and the vinyl is in mint condition. Too bad Hitch threw Herrmann under the bus with their very next colaboration: Topaz.

I'll never forget seeing Hitchcock get the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 79/80...there was a particularly awkward moment...here, now you can check it out for yourselves:

it's roughly at 03:40...Yes. Exactly. "Who is he?" oh Alfred, Alfred, Alfred. One thing for sure those kind of functions used to be a LOT more classy. Sean is very cool about it, to say the least!

  2. Actually I was trying to somewhat chastise Alfred Hitchcock BUT it's pretty wild you should mention that Doctor Go... I think Alan Napier (the actor that played Bruce Wayne's butler) was in Marnie as Sean Connery's Dad...oh Aunt Harriet, Aunt Harriet, Aunt Harriet (who was supposedly added to the Batman TV show to alleviate any concerns over any 'hanky-panky' between Bruce and Dick) :)
