THIRTY YEARS AGO - THE SUMMER OF '82
I really love movies. A lot of people have their favorite genres. Mine used to be sci-fi/fantasy. It just occurred to me a few days ago that starting in June of 1982 some of what I consider the best, most entertaining films of all time in that category were released. Film buffs and historians often site 1939 as 'the' year of incredible films...in my book 1982 ranks right up there as far as the sci-fi genre goes. In honor of that season of amazing movies below (in no particular order) is a 'Rocket Pad Super Post'

ReplyDelete@ Anonymous - I don't know what that means...is that code for something? Or is it a sequel (or two) for that great 80's movie 'Funny Young Inconsiderate People'? Now that John Hughes is dead I don't think it will ever get made. G-ddamn IT!!! Anthony Michael Hall as the stuffy, conservative father would have been awesome!
