I guess I'm on a Morricone jag these days...I realize a lot of these have been shared and floating around forever, unfortunately most of the blogs and links are long gone and I either didn't grab them -or- lost them w/ my last external hard drive meltdown...so here they are again (for better or worse) fresh rips from me to you.
Cool Steve! It's a great film and just as topical and on the money today as it was 45 years ago...
a little side note: a few years back an officer at the Pentagon was showing this to officers that were being sent over to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan...some of the more conservative elements in Congress and the military demanded / ordered him to stop. they felt that this film was wrong for morale since it shows an occupying force losing the 'hearts and minds' to an internal insurrection. wow. with logic like that I hope they never show any of the Star Wars movies.

I hope they don't see the Blu-Ray Star Wars. A war might ensue.
