I never saw this film BUT I'm willing to bet...just by the album art (and the music) that one of the ladies on the front cover is going to die by the end of the movie.
I did see this movie ... as it turns out, the husband of the lady on the left dies, but not before the lady on the right has an affair - and gets pregnant - by him. In the end, after much to-do, they decide to stay friends. In the sequel, they both go swimming and THEN they are eaten by a shark.
I remember when that film opened back in the late 80's early 90's! And to think all of these are loosely based upon that great Elizabethan Drama by William Shakespeare: "Just Betwixt Friends One And All"!

Indeed it was, and the baby in that one was born "Alien"-style.
