Richard Perry (the man behind Tiny Tim's first lp) must have been the 'go-to-guy to make 'em hip' over at WB Records back in the late 60's...he did the same to Chubby Checker, Ella, and Jerry Lee.
This lp had a lot of surface noise so I also included a filtered version...
